Final Score: Idaho 28, Utah State 6

Logan, UT (Sports Network) - Nathan Enderle threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Idaho Vandals to a 28-6 victory over the Utah State Aggies in a Western Athletic Conference bout at Romney Stadium.

Eric Greenwood caught two touchdown passes for Idaho (5-6, 2-4 WAC), and finished the game with 114 yards on just four catches.

Diondre Borel had a rough outing for Utah State (4-7, 2-5), as the quarterback completed less than 50.0 percent of his passes for 103 yards. Borel was also intercepted twice in the loss.

The Aggies took a 3-0 lead late in the first quarter thanks to a 44-yard field goal by Peter Caldwell.

Idaho went ahead 7-3 in the final seconds of the opening frame when Enderle connected with Greenwood for a 10-yard scoring strike.

Caldwell connected on a 24-yard kick early in the second stanza, but after that it was all Idaho, which scored the final 21 points of the contest.

Enderle and Greenwood hooked up again late in the second stanza, this time for a 28-yard touchdown, that gave the Vandals a 14-6 halftime lead.

After a scoreless third quarter the Vandals found the end zone twice in the final frame, beginning with a four-yard touchdown run by Deonte Jackson that capped off a 15-play, 79-yard drive.

Jackson scored again with just over five minutes remaining in regulation, but this touchdown came through the air, as Enderle connected with the tailback for a 10-yard score.
