Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Josh Harris ran for a game-high 138 yards and
a score as the Wake Forest Demon Deacons posted a 34-13 win over the
Vanderbilt Commodores in non-conference action at Vanderbilt Stadium.
The Demon Deacons (3-9) ran for a total of 226 yards and four touchdowns as
they snapped a lengthy nine-game slide which was the longest in the nation
entering the day. Quarterback Tanner Price threw for 73 yards and ran for
another 30 yards as he hit the end zone once in the long-overdue triumph.
The Commodores (2-10) were paced by Jared Funk who connected on 27-of-61
passes for 277 yards and a touchdown, but he was also sacked three times and
picked off twice in the team's seventh straight setback.
