Monroe, LA (Sports Network) - Frank Goodin ran for 169 yards and scored a touchdown to lead the UL-Monroe Warhawks to a 21-18 victory over the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in a Sun Belt Conference matchup at Malone Stadium.

Trey Revell had a rough day under center for the Warhawks (6-4, 5-1 SBC), as the signal-caller threw for just 151 yards and no touchdowns with two interceptions. Revell did, however, gain 40 yards on the ground with a touchdown on eight carries in the win, while Rodney Lovett ran for 56 yards and a score as well.

Bobby Rainey ran for 134 yards on just 16 totes to lead WKU (0-10, 0-6) in the losing effort, while Kawaun Jakes threw for 188 yards and no touchdowns. Jake Gaebler grabbed seven passes for 106 yards as well for the Hilltoppers, who own the nation's longest losing streak at 18 games

Following a quiet opening period of play, the Warhawks took a 7-0 lead with a nine-yard Revell run early in the second period of play.

But it was the Hilltoppers with a 12-7 halftime lead following four unanswered field goals from 43, 35, 39 and 41 yards out by Casey Tinius.

The Warhawks regained the lead early in the final period of play after a 48- yard Goodin run.

But a one-yard Brandon Smith plunge midway through the frame gave WKU an 18-14 advantage.

Lovett found the end zone for the decisive score with just over five minutes remaining in the contest on a three-yard scamper, giving ULM a three-point lead, and eventually the victory.
