Metz, France (SportsNetwork.com) - David Goffin of Belgium earned his second career ATP World Tour title Sunday with a straight-set victory over Portugal's Joao Sousa in the final of the Moselle Open.

The eighth-seeded Goffin needed just 74 minutes to post a 6-4, 6-3 win, continuing his strong second half of the 2014 season. He has now won 15 of his last 17 ATP Tour matches, and 34 of his last 36 overall, including three Challenger Tour titles.

After losing in the first round in eight of his first 10 ATP World Tour events of the season, Goffin captured the title in Kitzbuhel early last month for his first career ATP tournament victory, then reached the quarterfinals at Winston-Salem and fell in the third round at the U.S. Open prior to this week's championship run.   Full Story
