Trio of Riders headline CFL Players of the Week

Toronto, ON ( - Three members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders topped the list for the best players in the CFL during the Division Finals.

Top offensive honors went to Riders running back Kory Sheets, who fueled his club's 35-13 rout of the Stampeders in Calgary by racking up 177 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries.

Defensive honors fell to Saskatchewan defensive tackle Jermaine McElveen, who totaled five tackles and one interception to help his club earn a berth in the Grey Cup.

Diamond Ferri took home the special-teams award with a total of seven tackles for the Riders.

Hamilton's Andy Fantuz earned top Canadian honors for his performance in the Tiger-Cats' 36-24 win against defending-champion Toronto. The veteran wideout racked up 11 catches for 114 yards and two TDs for the East champions, who are making their first title-game appearance since winning in 1999.
