GAME NOTES: The Wofford Terriers will head to the Robins Center to play the Richmond Spiders as part of the Nation of Coaches Classic on Tuesday.

Wofford is coming off a beating by Ohio University, 73-50 which has left the team at 1-3 after four games. The Terriers really struggled against the Bobcats as they shot just 30.0 percent from the field, including an ugly 3- of-21 on shot attempts in the first half. Karl Cochran led the team with 14 points off the bench, while Indiana Faithfull added 12 points off the bench as well. The starting lineup contributed just 20 points in the loss.

Richmond is fresh off its first loss of the season to Minnesota, as the Spiders fell 72-57. The Spiders led the game by seven points with 10 minutes left, but found themselves trailing by 15 at the final buzzer in a total collapse. Derrick Williams scored a game-high 16 points, while Kendal Anthony added 13. Darien Brothers, who has been the key source of offense for Richmond, shot just 1-of-11 from the floor for two points in the loss.

The Spiders have won both previous meetings with the Terriers, with the last one coming back in 1997.

The Terriers have struggled early this season at the offensive end which has led to their 1-3 start. After losing in their opener to Colorado (74-59), Wofford came back with a convincing 87-54 win over Webber International. However, that win was followed by losses to Ball State (66-61) and Ohio University. The team has been shooting a modest 38.4 percent from the field, which has led to only 64.3 ppg. Kochran has been solid with 17.8 ppg, but has only shot 36.0 percent from the field. Spencer Collins follows with 12.0 ppg on a even worse 25.5 percent shooting efficiency. Lee Skinner has added 11.3 ppg and 8.0 rpg and seems to be one of the only players that is shooting the ball well at 50.0 percent from the floor.

The Spiders opened the season with three consecutive wins at home over Liberty (84-42), UNCW (101-58), and Hampton (68-58) before falling at Minnesota their last time out. The team has averaged 77.5 ppg and has held their opponents to just 57.5 ppg. Brothers has led the way with 15.3 ppg, followed by Williams with 11.8 and Anthony with 13 ppg off the bench. The Spider defense has forced their opposing teams into shooting 38.5 percent from the field and 27.6 percent from beyond the arc. Richmond has looked well rounded thus far and should bounce back strong after their poor performance against Minnesota where the team shot just 33.3 percent from the floor. Richmond will however, have to mix up the lineup in this game, as starting point guard Cedrick Lindsay (9.3 ppg) will miss the game after suffering a concussion against Minnesota.

Richmond has looked impressive at home and should handle the struggling Terriers even without Lindsay on the floor.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Richmond 74, Wofford 60
