(Saturday, January 26th) Final Score: (20) Wichita State 73, Bradley 39 Wichita, KS (Sports Network) - Nick Wiggins scored 12 points and Jake White added 11 and pulled down nine rebounds to lead No. 20 Wichita State to a 73-39 rout of Bradley at Charles Koch Arena. Cleanthony Early scored 10 points and Malcolm Armstead scored 10 points to go with eight assists and five rebounds for the Shockers (19-2, 8-1 MVC), who have won 19 straight home games. Walt Lemon Jr. scored a game-high 14 points for the Braves (12-9, 4-5), who have dropped seven straight games to top-25 opponents. Wichita State led 32-23 at the break, but outscored Bradley 41-16 over the final 20 minutes to get the season sweep. Tyshon Pickett's layup had the visitors within 43-32, but then came a 16-0 stretch for the Shockers. Wiggins canned a trio of 3-pointers during the run. Pickett finally stopped the bleeding for Bradley after burying a triple with under eight minutes left to make it 59-35, but Wichita State smothered the Braves defensively, holding them to just four points the rest of the way. The Braves, who shot just 31.9 percent (15-for-47) for the game, went just 6-for-21 from the floor in the second half. Bradley led, 18-16 with just over 8 1/2 minutes left in the first half, but the Shockers outscored the Braves, 16-5, the rest of the way to take a nine- point lead into the break.
