Starkville, MS (Sports Network) - Levi Randolph tied his career-best to lead the Crimson Tide with 18 points as Alabama coasted to a 75-43 rout of the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Southeastern Conference action at
Rodney Cooper added 17 points for Alabama (10-6, 2-1 SEC) as it collected its second win in a row. Nick Jacobs tallied a career-high 16 points while Trevor Lacy chipped in 11 points.
Fred Thomas was the only player for MSU (7-8, 2-1) to reach double-figures, as he produced 10 points in the team's first loss in SEC action.
Alabama took a 30-22 lead into the intermission after it shot 40 percent from the floor and converted all four of its free throw attempts. The Bulldogs fell behind after hitting only 38.1 percent of their field goal attempts.
MSU cooled off after the break to make just 33.3 percent of its attempts from the field while the Crimson Tide connected on 67.9 percent of their field goal tries including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc to coast to the triumph.
Alabama managed to convert 21 turnovers into 25 points while the Bulldogs tallied just 11 points off of the Crimson Tide's 12 miscues.
