La Salle shot the ball very well in the first half, converting 53.3 percent from the field overall, including 5-of-10 beyond the arc, as well as a perfect 3-of-3 at the free-throw line in order to take a 40-33 advantage at the break.
In the second half the hosts feasted at the free-throw line (17-of-21) and that was more than enough to get them into the win column as Richmond shot only 2-of-12 on the perimeter in the period.
