Centerman is the sixth-ranked domestic skater by NHL Central Scouting...Recorded 96 points for Drummondville of the QMJHL in each of the last two seasons and notched 36 goals and 60 assists in 58 games in 2010-11...Also added six goals and five helpers in 10 games for the Voltigeurs in the 2011 playoffs...Was named the QMJHL's Top Prospect and MVP following the 2010-11 campaign...At 6-foot-3, 197 pounds, Couturier has the size and strength to be a force in front of the net at the NHL level.
