Stars complete comeback on Dillon's goal, defeat Canucks
Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - Brenden Dillon scored the game-winner with 3:01 left in the third to spoil Henrik Sedin's record-setting night and lift the Dallas Stars to a 4-3 come-from-behind victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Friday at Rogers Arena.
Sedin recorded a pair of assists in the second period to pass Marcus Naslund for first place on Vancouver's all-time scoring list with 757 career points, but the Stars scored three answered goals to battle back from a 3-1 deficit and earn their fifth win in their last six games.
Cody Eakin added a goal and an assist, while Antoine Roussel and Reilly Smith also lit the lamp for the Stars, who had lost eight of their last 10 against the Canucks.
Richard Bachman replaced an injured Kari Lehtonen in the first period and stopped 18-of-21 shots en route to the victory.
Henrik's twin brother, Daniel, registered a goal and an assist, while Chris Higgins and Alexandre Burrows each scored once for Vancouver, which saw its six-game win streak come to an end.
Cory Schneider was charged with all four goals on 29 shots in the setback.
