Started his career as a defensive tackle at New Mexico State before transferring to Hartnell Junior College...Came to Nebraska in 2006 and appeared in 11 games, including two starts, at right tackle...In 2007, he moved over to left tackle and started in 11 of 12 appearances...All Big-12 Second-Team selection in 2007 after being called for just one penalty in 898 plays...Tremendous size and frame...Athletic...Plays with a mean streak...Mobile and gets a nice push in the run game...Technique still needs work...Doesn't use hands well enough...Endurance could be an issue due to weight fluctuation.
