Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon drained six triples as part of a 27-point night Saturday against the Nets.
Insight: Gordon played 20 mpg or fewer in six of the previous eight games but he got in 28 minutes of work Saturday.

3/23/2013 9:53:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon came into Saturday's game averaging 14.7 ppg over his last nine games, but he played just 15 minutes and made 1-of-7 from the field against Detroit.
Insight: Gordon doesn't play more than 20-25 minutes on most nights but we know he can fill it up quickly if he is hitting his shots. He just didn't make them Saturday.

3/12/2013 9:29:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon had 17 points Tuesday against Boston and is averaging 15.8 ppg over his last five contests.
Insight: Gordon has renewed fantasy relevance with Ramon Sessions on the shelf. He has played 25 mpg over his last four games and has always shown the ability to score big in a short time.

3/6/2013 9:31:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon is averaging 15 points over his last two games.
Insight: He played 26 minutes Wednesday, his most since Feb. 9, so perhaps he is out of coach Mike Dunlap's doghouse.

Cold2/23/2013 10:20:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon only played 12 minutes and went 0-of-3 from the field Saturday in his return to action after picking up a DNP-CD Friday night.
Insight: Gordon got into a dispute with Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap and disrespected him in front of the team. It doesn't look like his minutes will be rising anytime soon. Jeff Taylor played 33 minutes and scored 18 points off the bench Saturday.

Description: The Bobcats are reportedly ramping up efforts to trade Ben Gordon after the guard had a dispute with coach Mike Dunlap during a morning shootaround on Monday. SOURCE: Yahoo! Sports
Insight: Dunlap told Gordon to stop bouncing a ball while the coach was speaking, but Gordon refused and told Dunlap to "humble himself." Gordon's fantasy impact is limited on the Bobcats with Ramon Sessions serving as the sixth man; he hasn't scored in double figures in five straight games.

1/12/2013 10:23:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon's team-high 21 points Saturday gave him at least 20 points in three of his last five games.
Insight: Gordon is averaging 17.1 ppg in eight games since returning from an injury and is getting about 24 minutes and 14 shots per game so make sure to get him in the lineup.

1/4/2013 9:49:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon led the team with 27 points in 27 minutes and 32 seconds off the bench Friday against the Cavaliers. Gordon hit 11-of-20 from the field (2-4 3PT, 3-4 FT) with four assists, two rebounds, a steal and a block in the game.
Insight: Gordon attempted nine more shots than anyone else on the team. The shooting guard has scored in double figures in each of his four games since returning from a sore knee. He'll have a big game every once and awhile but more often than not he'll score close to his average (13.4).

12/30/2012 12:32:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon is averaging 12 ppg in two games since returning from an injury. However, he's failed to hit a 3-pointer on four attempts in those games.
Insight: At least Gordon is getting the shots again off the bench after falling behind in the Bobcats guard rotation following Gerald Henderson's return earlier this month. Unfortunately, it's going to be difficult to predict who will get the most shots on a game-to-game basis between Gordon, Ramon Session and rookie Jeff Taylor.

Insight: When he's healthy, Gordon is a borderline fantasy player who specializes in three-point shooting (42.7 percent for the season). However, his value has dropped significantly since Gerald Henderson returned.

12/28/2012 2:19:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon is questionable for Friday's game against Brooklyn, though he did participate in Thursday's practice. He's still battling a knee injuury.
Insight: Gordon hasn't played since last Wednesday against Phoenix. When he's healthy, Gordon is a borderline fantasy player who specializes in three-point shooting (42.7 percent for the season).

12/26/2012 6:37:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon is out for Wednesday's game against the Heat. He's still battling a knee injuury.
Insight: Gordon hasn't played since last Wednesday against Phoenix. When he's healthy, Gordon is a borderline fantasy player who specializes in three-point shooting (42.7 percent for the season).

12/24/2012 10:52:00 AM
Description: Charlotte shooting guard Ben Gordon (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Miami with a sore right knee.
Insight: Gordon (12.8 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 2.3 apg) has missed two consecutive games, though the injury isn't considered serious. The shooting guard can be dropped in most fantasy leagues as the injury combined with just one double-digit outing in his last five games equals little fantasy value.

12/22/2012 8:06:00 PM
Description: Charlotte shooting guard Ben Gordon (knee) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Nuggets.
Insight: Gordon (12.8 ppg) missed Friday's game with a sore right knee that isn't considered serious. The shooting guard can be dropped in fantasy leagues; he has only scored in double figures twice in his last eight games.

12/21/2012 9:36:00 PM
Description: Charlotte shooting guard Ben Gordon won't be on the floor for Friday's game against Golden State. He's taking the night off to rest his injured knee.
Insight: Gordon has been mostly irrelevant since Gerald Henderson's return from injury earlier this month. The Bobcats as a whole have been dismal recently (13-game losing streak) and we're not sure any of their players are worthy of fantasy consideration right now with the exception of possibly Kemba Walker (18.8 ppg, 6.1 apg).

12/8/2012 9:34:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon's playing time has declined since Gerald Henderson returned to a prominent role in the rotation.
Insight: Gordon averaged 22 ppg with 21 3-pointers in a four-game stretch from Nov. 28 to Dec. 5, but he's only played 26 minutes total in the last two games. Gordon owners have to hope that Henderson regains his starting job and sends rookie Jeffery Taylor to the end of the bench.

Hot12/3/2012 9:51:00 PM
Description: Bobcats guard Ben Gordon netted a game-high 29 points on 9-of-16 shooting (8-of-12 3PT) with five assists, three rebounds and a steal in 35 minutes off the bench Monday against the Blazers in an overtime loss.
Insight: Gordon has been feeling it from downtown as of late, hitting 23 threes over his last five games and averaging 20.4 ppg in that span.

11/30/2012 9:30:00 PM
Description: Charlotte guard Ben Gordon has averaged 22.5 points over his last two games, including 19 on 8-of-15 shooting with three threes, four rebounds, five assists and a block Friday against the 76ers.
Insight: It's the first time since Nov. 7-10 that Gordon has scored in double figures in consecutive games. He's going to take value away from Ramon Sessions if he stays hot. Sessions only had eight points on 3-of-9 shooting Friday but added five rebounds and six assists. The situation will be further complicated when Gerald Henderson returns from an injury and sends guard Jeffery Taylor to the bench.

11/29/2012 9:31:00 AM
Description: Charlotte guard Ben Gordon tossed in 26 points Wednesday in a 94-91 loss to Atlanta.
Insight: That's Gordon's highest scoring output since November 9th when he went off for 34 against the Hornets. Gordon has been excellent from three-point distance (42.9 percent for the season including 7-of-10 Wednesday night) and is certainly worth a look in fantasy leagues despite the fact that he averages just 23.8 minutes per game.

Insight: Gordon has fallen behind Ramon Sessions as Charlotte's go-to guy off the bench. His fantasy value is marginal.
