Thunder's Collison has knee surgery

Oklahoma City, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Oklahoma City Thunder forward Nick Collison underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, the team announced Thursday.

The Thunder said Collison is expected to miss between four and six weeks before he returns to normal offseason activities.

Collison, 33, averaged 4.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in 81 games this past season for the Thunder and 1.9 points and 2.2 boards in 17 playoff appearances. He has played all 10 of his NBA seasons with the franchise.
