Sterling banned for life, fined for racially charged remarks

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has been banned for life from the NBA and fined $2.5 million for his alleged racially charged comments that were taped by his girlfriend and sent to media outlets.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver made the announcement during a press conference on Tuesday.
