Wizards beat Magic in OT

Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Bradley Beal pinned a Jameer Nelson fastbreak layup with 1:06 left in overtime and John Wall scooped the rebound and dished to Trevor Ariza, who netted a 3-pointer to put the Wizards ahead and help Washington to a 105-101 overtime win against Orlando on Friday.

Wall and Ariza scored 21 apiece with Ariza chipping in 11 rebounds and Wall adding 11 assists for the Wizards, who snapped a two-game skid. Beal netted 20 and Marcin Gortat added 19 points and 14 boards.

Tobias Harris had 21 points and five rebounds off then bench for the Magic, who have lost five straight. Arron Afflalo scored 18, Victor Oladipo had 15 points and six assists and Nelson added 13 points, eight assists and six boards.

Two Oladipo jumpers put Orlando up four points 54 seconds into overtime, however, Ariza answered with a 3-pointer. The teams traded the lead seven times until Nelson stole an errant pass by Wall, which led to the Beal block on Nelsons' fastbreak layup effort.

After the block, Beal landed awkwardly and had to be carried to the locker room.

The Magic came within 103-101 with two seconds left, but Andre Miller nailed a pair from the line to seal the deal.

Washington trailed, 67-66, to start the fourth. Oladipo scored the first seven points of the quarter for the Magic to put them ahead, 73-71.
