Description: Oakland center fielder Coco Crisp is 3-for-6 with a triple and a home run against Texas ace Yu Darvish.
Insight: The speedy outfielder is batting .274 with five homers, 15 RBI, nine stolen bases and leads the league in times his helmet falls off while on the base path. Make sure he's in your lineup despite facing a tough right-hander.

Description: Oakland center fielder Coco Crisp has been activated from the DL on Wednesday.
Insight: Crisp did some running on Monday and he said his hamstring felt great. The speedy outfielder is certainly worth an add if you find him on the waiver wire this week. The 33-year-old was batting .283 with five homers, 12 RBI and eight stolen bases in 24 games prior to going down with a left hamstring injury.

5/12/2013 3:00:00 PM
Description: Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp (hamstring) is expected to test his leg on Monday and could be activated on Wednesday without a rehab assignment, according to San Francisco Chronicle beat writer Susan Slusser.
Insight: Crisp (.283, 24 runs, 5 HR, 12 RBI in 24 games) has been on the disabled list since April 30 with a strained left hamstring, but he was a huge factor in getting the A's offense off to a fast start this season.

5/10/2013 8:54:00 PM
Description: Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp (hamstring) doesn't have a timetable for a return, but he might be able to start running over the next few days, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: Crisp has been on the disabled list since April 30 with a strained left hamstring and is unlikely to return when he is eligible.

5/5/2013 12:17:00 PM
Description: Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp (hamstring) was feeling better Saturday, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: Athletics manager Bob Melvin said it was the first day that Crisp didn't feel soreness in his hamstring when walking around since he suffered the injury. He's eligible to return from the DL in nine days.

5/1/2013 1:05:00 PM
Description: Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp, who suffered a left hamstring injury in the 13th inning of Monday night's marathon 19 inning game, has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to April 30.
Insight: Crisp was off to a great start batting .283 with five homers, 24 runs scored, 12 RBI, eight steals and a .943 OPS. This injury could hamper the A's high-scoring offense.

4/30/2013 11:50:00 AM
Description: Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp is doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Angels with a strained left hamstring, suffered in the 13th inning of Monday night's marathon 19 inning game.
Insight: Crisp is off to a great start batting .283 with five homers, 24 runs scored, 12 RBI, eight steals and a .943 OPS. This injury could hamper the A's suddenly high-scoring offense.

Hot4/21/2013 10:27:00 AM
Description: Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp is 8-for-20 with a homer, two RBIs and four walks against Tampa Bay starter Roberto Hernandez.
Insight: Crisp is off to a great start, hitting .323 with five homers, four steals and 18 runs scored, and Sunday presents a great matchup. Fantasy owners shouldn't worry that Crisp has only faced Hernandez when he was known as Fausto Carmona; he may have a different name, but he has the same mediocre stuff.

Hot4/19/2013 10:34:00 PM
Description: Coco Crisp's hot start continued Friday night in Tampa Bay. The A's outfielder teed off with two hits in four at bats.
Insight: One of the blasts was Crisp's fifth home run of the year. That's pretty remarkable when you consider that Crisp managed 11 homers all of last season. Crisp's .759 slugging percentage (fourth in the major leagues) is 300 points higher than his career average (.411).

4/17/2013 5:29:00 PM
Description: Athletics center fielder Coco Crisp sat out of Wednesday's day game against the Astros.
Insight: Crisp missed some time last weekend due to a groin injury, so the team is getting him some rest Wednesday with an off day scheduled for Thursday. He should be back in the lineup Friday.

4/15/2013 1:00:00 PM
Description: A's center fielder Coco Crisp is just 1-for-15 (.067) against Houston starter Erik Bedard.
Insight: Crisp might not play because of a groin injury he suffered on Friday that kept him out all weekend, but even if he's back in the Oakland lineup he shouldn't be in fantasy lineups on Monday. He's batting .333 with 14 runs scored, four stolen bases and a 1.095 OPS, well above what we expect from him, but avoid the Monday matchup.

Hot4/13/2013 3:43:00 PM
Description: A's center fielder Coco Crisp won't be on the field Saturday against Detroit. He strained his left groin in Friday night's win.
Insight: It's a shame for fantasy owners as Crisp has already smacked four homers this year while collecting 14 runs and a .333 batting average. All three of the A's starting outfielders have encountered injury trouble in the past week (Yoenis Cespedes - strained left hand, Josh Reddick - sore wrist).

4/13/2013 11:56:00 AM
Description: Oakland center fielder Coco Crisp left Friday's game and is doubtful for Saturday's game against Detroit due to a strained right groin.
Insight: Crisp is on fire right now, batting .333 with a league-leading 14 runs scored (tied with Austin Jackson). The A's are also likely to be without oufielder Yoenis Cespedes.

4/10/2013 10:23:00 AM
Description: Oakland center fielder Coco Crisp is just a .133 career hitter (2-for-15) with a .388 OPS against Angels right-hander Joe Blanton.
Insight: Crisp is on fire right now, batting .343 with a league-leading 11 runs scored. He owned a similar poor history against left-hander C.J. Wilson Tuesday and put up two hits and scored twice. Given how well he's playing, he should still be in fantasy lineups despite the poor matchup.

Hot4/9/2013 9:02:00 PM
Description: Oakland center fielder Coco Crisp has recorded four straight multi-hit games and three straight games with a home run.
Insight: Crisp will see Angels left-hander C.J. Wilson Tuesday, against whom he holds a .143 career average (3-for-21). However, there's no way you can take him out of your fantasy lineup right now.

10/11/2012 10:26:00 AM
Description: Oakland center fielder Coco Crisp burned the Tigers again Wednesday night in a dramatic come-from-behind win. A day after robbing Prince Fielder of a home run on a terrific leaping catch, Crisp came back to deliver the game-winning hit in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Insight: Crisp has always been a solid defensive player but his hitting comes and goes. This series, the veteran is batting .222 with a pair of RBI. Thursday he'll face righthander Justin Verlander, who he homered against in Game 1.

10/7/2012 10:14:00 PM
Description: Athletics center fielder Coco Crisp could lead Oakland's offense again in Game 2 of the ALDS after hitting a leadoff homer against Justin Verlander in Game 1. Crisp is the only one in Oakland's lineup who has had success against Tigers starter Doug Fister.
Insight: Crisp is 6-for-12 with two triples and an RBI against Fister. The outfielder started things off well against Verlander on Saturday but Oakland didn't score again following his leadoff homer. Including Game 1, Crisp is 11-for-29 (.379) with four doubles, two homers, five RBIs, three steals and 10 runs scored in his last seven games.
