Insight: LaRoche walked with the bases loaded in the first and then had a two-run double in the seventh. He also came around to score the winning run in the same inning. LaRoche is hitting .238 with four home runs and 16 RBI in 101 at-bats this season.

Insight: With Jose Abreu the everyday first baseman, it appears as though the White Sox intend to start LaRoche at designated hitter. The 35-year-old hit .259/.362/.455 with 26 home runs and 92 RBI in 140 games during 2014. U.S. Cellular Field is a more friendly hitters park, so it is quite possible LaRoche hits even more home runs next season.

Insight: LaRoche is having another solid RBI season with 26 home runs and 92 RBI. He hasn't seen much postseason work with just 17 playoff at-bats since 2005 and a .176 batting average.
