(SportsNetwork, com) - The Boston Red Sox try to get back on the winning track Saturday when they continue a four-game series with the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park.

Boston saw its brief two-game winning streak come to an end in Friday's opener, as Jonathan Schoop went 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI to lead the Orioles to an 8-4 win.

Nelson Cruz had two RBI and Nick Markakis added a pair of doubles, one RBI and two runs scored for Baltimore, winners in three straight.

Chris Tillman (2-1) allowed three runs on seven hits and four walks while fanning five to pick up the win. Brian Matusz allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings and Darren O'Day threw 1 1/3 scoreless frames to earn his first save of the season.

"Just being able to trot back on the field a couple times was a pretty cool feeling. It is nice to go out there and try to put up some zeroes behind Tilly, who pitched a pretty good ball game," Matusz said.

Brock Holt had two hits and an RBI while Dustin Pedroia, Xander Bogaerts and A.J. Pierzynski each drove in a run for the Red Sox, who have now dropped four of six.

John Lackey (2-2) allowed six runs on 10 hits and four walks while striking out six to absorb his second straight loss.

Getting the call for the Red Sox on Saturday will be lefty Felix Doubront, who is 1-2 with a 6.75 ERA. Doubront lost his second straight start on Sunday in New York, as the Yankees reached him for three runs and seven hits in 6 2/3 innings. He also walked three batters and has issued seven free passes in 14 2/3 innings.

"He was good," said Boston catcher A.J. Pierzynski. "When he throws the ball over the plate, he's as good as anybody. I think, what, two of the walks scored. It just drives his pitch count up. It puts him in situations he shouldn't be in. other than that, he threw the ball well."

Doubront has faced the Orioles 10 times (6 starts) and is 2-2 with a 4.61 ERA against them.

Baltimore, meanwhile, will counter with righty Bud Norris, who is searching for his first win of the season. Norris pitched well enough to win his last start on Saturday against Toronto, as he scattered five hits over seven scoreless innings, but did not factor in the decision of his team's 2-1 win.

Norris hasn't beaten the Red Sox in three starts against them, posting an 0-1 mark with a 4.15 ERA.

The O's had the upper hand in the head-to-head series last year as they went 11-8 against Boston. This year, though, the AL East rivals have split four contests.
