Lubbock, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Led by 17 points from Marcus Foster, the Kansas State Wildcats downed the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 60-56, in a Big 12 Conference matchup at United Spirit Arena.

For the Wildcats (19-9, 9-6 Big 12), Wesley Iwundu added 12 points and Thomas Gipson and Will Spradling each chipped in with 10 as the team won for the second time in the last three outings.

Dejan Kravic scored 13 points, pulled down six rebounds and blocked four shots to lead the Red Raiders (13-15, 5-10), who now have lost four straight. Jordan Tolbert added 10 points and nine rebounds in the loss.

The Red Raiders shot just 40.5 percent from the field but held the Wildcats to 34.6 percent in the first half, as Tech took a 26-25 lead into the break. Both teams struggled from deep, with the Wildcats hitting on just 3-of-14 from beyond the arc and the Red Raiders missing all five of their tries.

After intermission Kansas State found its rhythm, connecting on 47.6 percent from the field, including 3-of-6 from 3-point distance. Texas Tech had difficulty from the floor in the frame, converting just 33.3 percent and 1- of-5 from beyond the arc. Trailing by two, 56-54, with just under a minute to play, the Wildcats took the lead for good when Iwundu completed a 3-point play after being fouled while scoring on a layup. The Red Raiders had the ball with a chance to tie or take the lead, but Foster came up with a steal in the final seconds to seal the victory.

The Red Raiders, who shot just 1-of-10 on the perimeter, had the advantage on the glass, outrebounding the Wildcats 34-24.
