Description: Spurs F/C Jeff Ayres (sprained finger) has been cleared to return to action Saturday, according to Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News.

Description: Forward Jeff Pendergraph has signed a two-year contract with San Antonio. SOURCE: Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo Sports
Insight: Pendergraph (3.9 ppg on 48.4 percent shooting) only logged ten minutes per game for the Pacers last season. With Tim Duncan ahead of him on the depth chart, we wouldn't expect Pendergraph's playing time to increase much in 2013-14.

5/21/2013 3:02:00 PM
Description: Pacers backup power forward Jeff Pendergraph is with his pregnant wife at the hospital and missed a second consecutive practice.
Insight: The Pacers hope he'll be available for Game 1 of the series with Miami, but he's only playing nine minutes in the playoffs and averaging 2.0 ppg and 2.6 rpg, so his fantasy value is minimal.

Description: Pacers' PF Jeff Pendergraph could see big minutes if David West (eye) can't play Wednesday against Charlotte.
Insight: West missed the Wednesday morning shootaround and will be a game-time decision. Pendergraph played great while West was sidelined Monday, posting season highs with 14 points and 10 rebounds in just 17 minutes.

Description: Jeff Pendergraph announced he will be out for the year with a torn ACL. SOURCE: Jeff Pendergraph on Twitter
Insight: If it's not time to start become superstitious, then maybe it's time to be a little stitious. The Blazers have some bad luck with centers and are one less backup behind the oft-injured Marcus Camby and Greg Oden. Both players are huge gambles and Oden might not even be worth a pick in shallow leagues.

Description: Pendergraph suffered what appeared to be a serious knee injury, according to The Oregonian.
Insight: The former Arizona State star averaged 2.7 points and 2.5 rebounds in 10.4 minutes in 39 games with the Trailblazers last season. He will be missed as bench depth. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: Jeff Pendergraph wills start at center for the Blazers on Tuesday against the Clippers, as all three of their regular centers are injured.
Insight: Greg Oden is recovering from another major knee problem, Marcus Camby is currently out with a strained groin, and Joel Przybilla is also rehabbing after knee surgery. (RapidDraft.com)
