3/19/2014 2:01:00 PM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders confirmed he won't return this season, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Insight: Sanders suffered a fractured orbital bone and had to undergo surgery in mid-February. He had a miserable season after signing a four-year, $44 million contract extension last summer (which won't kick in until next season). The center missed six weeks after tearing a thumb ligament in a nightclub brawl and ended up averaging 7.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 23 games.

2/18/2014 7:21:00 PM
Description: According to Andrew Gruman of foxsportswisconsin.com, Bucks coach Larry Drew thinks Larry Sanders (face) won't be able to do any basketball activities for six weeks.
Insight: Sanders has been ruled out for at least six weeks due to a fractured orbital bone. If he's unable to do anything during that time his conditioning will fall behind, making him unlikely to play again this season.

2/14/2014 11:51:00 AM
Description: Milwaukee PF/C Larry Sanders will be out a minimum of six weeks after surgery on a fractured orbital bone, according to beat reporter Aron Yohannes.
Insight: At least its not a season-ending injury. With Ersan Ilyasova (back) out as well and John Henson struggling with a sore foot, Zaza Pachulia could have fantasy value.

Description: Milwaukee PF/C Larry Sanders is out indefinitely with a fractured orbital bone. SOURCE: Andrew Gruman, Fox Sports Wisconsin
Insight: It's not a season-ending injury but it should keep Sanders on the shelf for a while. With Ersan Ilyasova (back) out as well, it's anyone guess who the Bucks will start at power forward Monday against Boston.

2/9/2014 3:00:00 PM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders (right eye contusion) is questionable for Monday's game, according to Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Insight: Sanders took a shot to the face from James Harden in the first quarter Saturday night and didn't return due to blurred vision in his right eye. The 25-year-old center came into Saturday's game averaging 32 minutes, 13.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals in his last five games.

Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday's game due to an eye injury. SOURCE: Andrew Gruman, foxsportswisconsin.com.
Insight: Sanders took a shot to the face from James Harden in the first quarter. He was considered probable to return at first but is dealing with blurred vision. The 25-year-old center came into Saturday's game averaging 32 minutes, 13.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals in his last five games.

Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders went to the locker room in the first quarter Saturday night after taking a shot to the face from James Harden, but he is probable to return for the second half. SOURCE: Andrew Gruman, foxsportswisconsin.com.
Insight: Sanders was poked in the eye and should be fine. The 25-year-old center came into Saturday's game averaging 32 minutes, 13.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals in his last five games.

1/31/2014 9:44:00 PM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders had his best game of the season Friday against Orlando, scoring 10 points, grabbing nine boards, blocking four shots and picking up four steals.
Insight: Sanders has played 33 minutes in back-to-back games and averaged 12 points, nine rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 steals. Fantasy owners have to hope Zaza Pachulia's return to action doesn't cause Sanders' playing time to decrease.

1/29/2014 7:03:00 PM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders (illness) said he'll play Wednesday, but admitted he doesn't have much energy, according to Andrew Gruman of foxsportswisconsin.com.
Insight: Sanders will come off the bench. The center has averaged just 24.7 minutes, 6.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 17 games this season.

1/29/2014 3:25:00 PM
Description: Milwaukee center Larry Sanders was back at shootaround today after missing Tuesday's practice because of the flu. He expects to play Wednesday versus Phoenix. SOURCE: Bucks PR on Twitter
Insight: Sanders has played exactly 21 minutes in each of his last three games. With John Henson emerging as one of the Bucks' best young players, we don't anticipate that number increasing anytime soon. For fantasy purposes, you better look elsewhere.

1/28/2014 10:38:00 AM
Description: Bucks big man Larry Sanders is questionable for Wednesday's game against Phoenix. He and guard O.J. Mayo are suffering from illness.
Insight: Sanders (6.4 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 1.8 bpg) will likely continue to backup John Henson at center. There's no reason to have him in your lineup.

1/24/2014 7:53:00 PM
Description: O.J. Mayo isn't the only player returning from an illness on Friday. His teammate Larry Sanders is also back after sitting out Wednesday against the Pistons. SOURCE: C.F. Gardner, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Insight: Apparently the illness has run its course. Sanders (6.7 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.8 bpg) will backup John Henson at center tonight against the Cavaliers. He'll probably be on a minutes limit so fantasy owners should lower their expectations.

1/24/2014 1:58:00 PM
Description: Milwaukee center Larry Sanders, missed Wednesday's game against Detroit due to illness, but has been upgraded to probable for Friday versus Cleveland.
Insight: The Bucks finally won a game Wednesday and coach Larry Drew will stack with the same lineup meaning Sanders will come off the bench. Hopefully for Sanders owners, this is just temporary.

1/23/2014 10:33:00 AM
Description: Milwaukee center Larry Sanders is suffering from an illness which forced him to miss Wednesday's game against Detroit and he's questionable for Friday's game against Cleveland.
Insight: The Bucks were also missing O.J. Mayo due to illness. Hopefully both can return for Friday, but these days of the two only Sanders is a viable fantasy option.

1/22/2014 6:52:00 PM
Description: Milwaukee center Larry Sanders is suffering from an illness and won't be able to compete Wednesday against Detroit. SOURCE: Keith Langlois, Pistons.com
Insight: Sanders' teammate O.J. Mayo is also sick so something must be going around the Bucks' locker room. John Henson (12.3 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 2.2 bpg) is going to see big minutes at center tonight. He's a must-start whenever Sanders is out of the lineup.

1/21/2014 1:53:00 PM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders missed the Tuesday morning practice due to illness and should be considered questionable for Wednesday's matchup with Detroit.
Insight: Sanders hasn't played up to last season's level, but he has posted double-digit point in three consecutive games. He averaged close to a double-double last season, but so far is putting up just 6.7 ppg and 6.7 rpg in 15 contests.

1/11/2014 9:27:00 PM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders made an early exit from Saturday's game for elbowing Thunder center Steven Adams in the face. He finished with zero points, four rebounds and one block in seven minutes.
Insight: Sanders was battling Adams for position under the hoop and caught him in the face with his elbow and forearm. Sanders then blatantly threw another elbow at Adams and was ejected. The center led the NBA with five ejections last season and has been a disaster this season, tearing a thumb ligament in a bar fight in November and getting into an altercation with teammate Gary Neal in front of reporters earlier this month. He's averaging just 5.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks after signing a four-year, $44 million contract extension this past offseason.

12/27/2013 11:39:00 AM
Description: Bucks center Larry Sanders (thumb) will come off the bench Friday in his return from a 26-game absence.
Insight: Sanders suffered a torn ligament in his thumb during a nightclub brawl on Nov. 2. According to Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Bucks coach Larry Drew said Sanders will get "20-plus" minutes, but added that he wants "to really keep an eye on his conditioning."
