3/21/2011 4:05:00 PM
Description: Jianlian has started the past two games in place of the injured Andray Blatche and come away with nine points and four rebounds each time.
Insight: Blatche seems like he'll return to the lineup soon, so it's probably good that Jianlian isn't delivering must-have fantasy numbers. (RapidDraft.com)

12/1/2010 10:03:00 AM
Description: Yi returned to practice after being inactive since Nov. 13 with a hyperextended knee, according to the Washington Post.
Insight: Before he got hurt, Yi was averaging 7.6 points and 3.1 rebounds. He could be a fantasy player if some of the Wizards' starters in the frontcourt get hurt. (RapidDraft.com)

11/15/2010 12:04:00 PM
Description: Jianlian suffered a hyperextended knee and bone bruise when John Wall fell into him during Saturday's game against Chicago.
Insight: The injury is not considered serious and Jianlian may be back for Tuesday's game against the Raptors. The seven-footer is averaging 7.6 points and 3.1 rebounds. (RapidDraft.com)

9/7/2010 11:16:00 PM
Description: Yi Jianlian played 35 minutes and finished with 11 points, 12 rebounds, two blocks, and two steals as China was eliminated on Tuesday.
Insight: His Achilles is clearly OK and he should get a full load this preseason. He doesn't have too much upside since the Wizards look to be committed to Andray Blatche and JaVale McGee.

Description: The MRI on Yi Jianlian's injured Achilles heel came back negative. SOURCE: Truthaboutit.net
Insight: That was a close one. Yi shouldn't be a major factor in Washington and doesn't really have enough fantasy tools to be considered as a sleeper.

8/31/2010 11:02:00 PM
Description: Yi Jianlian continues to play well for China as he posted a line of 24 points, seven rebounds, and a three in 37 minutes.
Insight: Yi isn't expected to be a major piece of the new look Wizards. The nice summer showing is good news, but it'd probably be advantageous to draft a player with higher upside late in your draft.

Description: Yi Jianlian injured his arm in an international competition for China. SOURCE: NBC Sports
Insight: It appears to be just a minor injury and Yi should be fine. Yi probably won't have much value in Washington this coming year.
