Description: Timberwolves forward Josh Howard is doubtful for Monday's game against Orlando with a hyperextended right knee.
Insight: Howard (6.7 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 0.4 apg) was about to see a dip in his playing time anyway what with the return of SF Andrei Kirilenko and guard Ricky Rubio to the Minnesota lineup.
12/14/2012 2:20:00 PM
Description: Timberwolves forward Josh Howard is probable for Friday's game against New Orleans after illness kept him out of the game versus Denver.
Insight: Howard (7.1 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 0.4 apg) might actually start at guard for injured Malcolm Lee, though more than likely he'll backup Alexey Shved.
12/4/2012 9:51:00 PM
Description: Timberwolves forward Josh Howard scored 16 points with 10 boards Tuesday against the 76ers, both season highs.
Insight: Howard has started the last three games at small forward for Minnesota. He's going to have to prove he can do this consistently before we recommend him as a fantasy option.
11/16/2012 12:10:00 PM
Description: Josh Howard passed his physical, was at the morning shootaround and is expected to dress for Friday's game against Golden State.
Insight: It's been three years and three teams since Howard was a factor in the fantasy world. We don't expect him to see enough time in Minnesota to be of value to fantasy owners.
3/14/2012 4:14:00 PM
Description: Josh Howard is listed as probable for tonight's game in Phoenix despite missing practice yesterday with an achilles injury.
Insight: This should be a relief for the Jazz. Howard has been on a roll lately, scoring in double figures in nine out of his last 11 games. If Howard is limited at all by his achilles Wednesday night, C.J. Miles could see more minutes for Utah.
1/10/2011 4:05:00 PM
Description: According to Rotoworld.com, Howard is expected to miss another week to 10 days with a sore knee.
Insight: Howard was once a rising star for the Mavericks, but he has had injury problems for a couple years now. He should be ignored until further notice. (RapidDraft.com)
12/8/2010 11:02:00 AM
Description: Howard is hoping to return to the court in the next two weeks, according to the Washington Post.
Insight: Howard has been out since March after tearing a ligament in his knee. He will split minutes with Al Thornton when he returns. (RapidDraft.com)
11/7/2010 2:00:00 PM
Description: Howard has been cleared for contact practice and told Yahoo! Sports that he hopes to return in the second week of December.
Insight: With Al Thornton playing well for the Wizards, Howard may not be given his place in the starting lineup immediately. He is returning from ACL surgery, so it make take some time to return to his former self. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: Josh Howard (knee) still does not have a timetable for his return. SOURCE: Hoopsworld
Insight: He tore his ACL last year, so there should not have been much expectation and he will not have much value until January at the earliest. If an owner is hopelessly holding onto him, feel free to make fun of him on your league's message board.

Description: Josh Howard is progressing and his knee injury could only keep him out until December. SOURCE: Washington Post
Insight: He had an ACL tear, so December seems to be a bit optimistic. Al Thornton has more value right now and could have a nice November and December. Yi Jianlian is also a candidate to see a minute increase while Howard misses time.
10/2/2010 12:05:00 PM
Description: The Washington Post reported that Howard is not expected to come back from a torn knee ligament until November.
Insight: Howard only appeared in four games after being sent from Dallas to Washington in the Caron Butler deal. Playing with John Wall could rejuvenate his career. (RapidDraft.com)
10/1/2010 11:58:00 AM
Description: Josh Howard (knee) is not expected to return before late November. SOURCE: Washington Post
Insight: That return date is a bit aggressive for Howard. He is recovering from a torn ACL and previous ACL injuries suggest he would be out until 2011. Al Thornton has nice short-term value while Howard is on the mend.
9/18/2010 2:01:00 PM
Description: Howard said his rehad is "going great" and he hopes to return to action in October or November.
Insight: Howard intends to be a leader for the young Wizards this coming season. He hasn't been able to stay healthy recently and fantasy owners should be leery of grabbing him in drafts too early. (RapidDraft.com)
7/28/2010 11:04:00 PM
Description: The Wizards and Josh Howard have agreed to a one-year $4 million deal. SOURCE: Yahoo!
Insight: Howard tore his ACL last year and won't be available until September. He has some upside in Washington, but his bum knee will be swelling for the majority of the season. No thanks.
7/12/2010 3:41:00 PM
Description: Chicago and Boston have expressed interest in Josh Howard. SOURCE:Yahoo!
Insight: Howard tore his ACL just after being traded to Washington. He doesn't have a sterling reputation (to put it mildly), this is sort of surprising that a team like Boston would be interested. However, they did have Sheed. Howard should be ignored in all league until further notice.
