NCAA Game Summary - Columbia at Elon

Elon, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Austin Hamilton scored 17 points, leading the Elon Phoenix to a 68-65 overtime victory over the Columbia Lions at Alumni Gym.
Hamilton shot 5-of-8 from the field, including 4-of-4 from the perimeter for the Phoenix (4-4). Lucas Troutman followed with 16 points on 8-of-13 from the floor and grabbed seven rebounds. Kevin Blake came off the bench and delivered 12 points.
Alex Rosenberg came off the bench to lead the Lions (4-4) in scoring with a game-high 19 points. Grant Mullins and Cory Osetkowski also reached double figures with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
The Phoenix found more success from the field in the first half of play, shooting 44 percent to the Lions' 36 percent. The score was 29-24 in favor of Elon at halftime.
Columbia improved from the field in the second half, shooting 45.8 percent. The Lions also converted 7-of-10 at the free-throw line. With the clock stopped with eight seconds left to play and the score at 57-54 in favor of Elon, Blake missed a free throw that would have sealed the win. At the other end, Rosenberg tied the game for Columbia on a last-second shot from long distance, sending the game to overtime.
With 2:02 remaining in the extra session, Blake sank both of his free throws to break a 61-61 tie and put Elon ahead for good.
The Phoenix outscored the Lions in the paint, 34-28, and in points off turnovers, 18-11.
