Canton, OH (Sports Network) - Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb left Sunday's preseason game against the New Orleans Saints with a rib contusion.

Scrambling near his own end zone, Kolb was slammed into the ground by Saints defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis.

Kolb, who is competing with John Skelton for the starting quarterback job, went 1-for-4 for four yards and an interception before exiting.
