Berkeley, CA (Sports Network) - Layshia Clarendon scored 23 points on 11-of-15 shooting, leading the seventh-ranked California Golden Bears to a 71-54 win over the Utah Utes.

Reshanda Gray had 19 points with eight rebounds for California (17-2, 7-1 Pac-12), which scored 30 points off 21 Utah turnovers .

Michelle Plouffe was responsible for 10 of those giveaways. She did finish with 19 points and eight boards for Utah (10-9, 1-7), which was outscored 26-14 in the paint.

Paige Crozon supplied 13 points in defeat.
