Bogota, Colombia (Sports Network) - Spain's Lara Arruabarrena-Vecino defeated Russia's Alexandra Panova 6-2, 7-5 in the final of the Copa Colsanitas tennis tournament Sunday. Both Panova and Arruabarrena-Vecino played in their first WTA Final Sunday. With her first career win, Arruabarrena-Vecino claimed $37,000. At No. 174, Arrubarrena-Vecino is the lowest ranked player to win a WTA singles title since 2009, when No. 201 Alexandra Dulgheru won the Warsaw Open.
