Pato seals Corinthians move

Sao Paulo, Brazil (Sports Network) - Alexandre Pato has ended speculation regarding his future by completing a move to Brazilian side Corinthians on Thursday.

The want-away AC Milan striker joins the recently-crowned FIFA Club World Cup champions, reportedly signing a four-year deal.

"In the coming days Pato, who will wear the number seven shirt with 'O Timao,' will undergo medical tests and sign a contract for four seasons," a statement on the Corinthians website read. "Corinthians have bought 100 percent of the economic rights of Alexandre Pato for [$19 million]."

Pato, 23, managed just one goal in Serie A this season, making just seven appearances for AC Milan across all competitions.
