Oilers, Dubnyk agree to another 2-year deal Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - The Edmonton Oilers agreed to terms with goaltender Devan Dubnyk on a two-year contract Thursday. Dubnyk went 20-20-3 with two shutouts and a 2.67 goals-against average in 47 games for Edmonton last season. In three NHL campaigns, the 26-year-old Saskatchewan native has gone 36-43-13 with a 2.85 GAA, four shutouts and a .910 save percentage in 101 appearances. Dubnyk had signed his original two-year deal in the summer of 2010. He was a first-round selection of the Oilers in the 2004 draft. Edmonton also agreed to terms on a similar contract with defenseman Jeff Petry. A 24-year-old Michigan native, Petry has tallied three times and dished out 27 assists in 108 games over two NHL seasons, but is a minus-19. 07/05 18:27:51 ET Powered by The Sports Network. |
