3/13/2014 7:07:00 PM
Description: Ted Ginn signed a three-year contract with the Cardinals on Thursday.
Insight: Ginn will return kicks and replace Andre Roberts (signed with the Redskins) as Arizona's third receiver. He had 36 catches for 556 yards and five touchdowns last season, but it's wishful thinking that he'll approach those numbers with the Cardinals.

9/22/2013 6:10:00 PM
Description: Panthers receiver Ted Ginn has hauled in a deep touchdown in two straight games.
Insight: Ginn has been Carolina's most consistent deep threat so far and has seven receptions for 143 yards and two scores in three games.

3/22/2013 10:10:00 PM
Description: Former Niners wide receiver Ted Ginn has agreed to a one-year contract with the Panthers.
Insight: Ginn only made two catches last season and was mostly used as a return man. He could play a slightly larger role in Carolina but we're guessing he won't be drafted in any fantasy leagues.

8/10/2012 10:22:00 AM
Description: San Francisco WR/KR Ted Ginn Jr. is expected to start opposite Michael Crabtree in the 49ers first preseason game, stated coach Jim Harbaugh on Thursday to Matt Maiocco of csnbayarea.com
Insight: The 49ers brought in a lot of receiving talent in the off-season, namely Mario Manningham, Randy Moss and rookie A.J. Jenkins and we don't expect Ginn to see much significant time other than special teams this season. This start doesn't change those expectations.

7/10/2012 12:50:00 PM
Description: San Francisco WR/KR Ted Ginn Jr. is healthy (knee) and should win the kick return duties for the 49ers, but there seems to be few opportunities for him to move up the receiving depth chart.
Insight: The 49ers brought in a lot of receiving talent in the off-season, namely Mario Manningham, Randy Moss and rookie A.J. Jenkins. Ginn figures to return kicks but contribute little else and his only fantasy value is likely to be as a contributor to the 49ers defense/special teams.

5/20/2011 12:10:00 PM
Description: There is belief that 49ers WR/KR Ted Ginn may not make the final roster this season. SOURCE: CSN BAY AREA
Insight: Ginn will compete for the No. 3 role in Jim Harbaugh's new offense, but he won't have any fantasy value if he stays or not.

8/16/2010 12:11:00 PM
Description: CSN Bay Area reports Ginn has "nailed down" the 49ers' No. 3 wide receiver job.
Insight: Ginn stands to be a deep threat and punt returner for the 49ers, which may not make for significant fantasy value. (Rapid Draft.com)

8/4/2010 1:23:00 PM
Description: The San Francisco Chronicle reports Ginn has been impressive so far in 49ers' training camp.
Insight: Ginn is unlikely to be much more than a situational deep threat for San Francisco. (Rapid Draft.com)

6/25/2010 1:04:00 PM
Description: CSN Bay Area reports Ginn was not impressive as a wide receiver or punt returner during offseason workouts.
Insight: The CSN article cites Ginn's lackadaisical attitude, which certainly won't sit well with 49ers' head coach Mike Singletary. Jason Hill and Dominic Ziegler could be moving into consideration for the No. 3 wide receiver spot. (SportsBuff.com)

6/17/2010 10:34:00 AM
Description: Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reports Ginn worked out as the 49ers' third WR during the two-minute drill on Wednesday.
Insight: Ginn is line to be the 49ers' No.3 wide receiver right now, and he should also be the team's primary return man. (SportsBuff.com)

5/3/2010 9:49:00 AM
Description: The San Francisco Chronicle reports 49ers' head coach Mike Singletary said Ginn will see plenty of snaps at receiver in addition to his return duties.
Insight: Ginn is likely to be used as a situational deep threeat. He is unlikely to be a starter, and thus is unlikely to have a lot of fantasy value. (SportsBuff.com)

4/16/2010 3:00:00 PM
Description: Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.com reports, via Twitter, that the 49ers have acquired Ginn from the Dolphins in exchange for a fifth-round pick in next week's draft.
Insight: Ginn took a step back as a receiver in 2009, eventually losing his starting job to Brian Hartline, but he is still an explosive return man. He is not likely to have much fantasy value in 2010. (SportsBuff.com)

4/14/2010 8:15:00 PM
Description: Ted Ginn will be the odd man out in Miami's receiving corps, according to Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald
Insight: There have been rumors flying for weeks now that the Dolphins are getting ready to part ways with their former first round pick. He is one player who could definitely use a fresh start. (sportsBuff.com)

4/13/2010 9:15:00 PM
Description: The Dolphins are shopping WR/KR Ted Ginn, according to NFL.com's Jason LaCanfora.
Insight: Forever dogged by the fact that the Dolphins took him much earlier than anyone expected him to go in the draft, Ginn has not come close to living up to expectations. He could use a fresh start somewhere else, so this could ultimately be good for him. (SportsBuff.com)

4/1/2010 8:05:00 PM
Description: Ginn?s percentage of dropped passes was the third worst in the league last season.
Insight: Ginn is beginning to smell like a sure-fire bust, especially for fantasy purposes. His lack of consistency trumps his speed and his ability to get downfield. (Sportsbuff.com)

1/6/2010 8:49:00 AM
Description: Ginn had three receptions for 20 yards on Sunday against the Steelers.
Insight: Ginn did finish the season with eight receptions for 102 yards over his last two games but other than that, it was a forgettable season for Ginn. He topped 50 yards receiving only three times all season and had one touchdown. (SportsBuff.com)

12/28/2009 10:37:00 PM
Description: Ginn had five catches for 82 yards on Sunday against the Texans.
Insight: Ginn topped 80 yards for only the second time this season as he has not been a very good fantasy option this season. (SportsBuff.com)

12/21/2009 8:18:00 AM
Description: Ginn had two receptions for 38 yards against the Titans on Sunday.
Insight: Ginn has only five receptions over his last three games and has not topped 40 yards receiving since Week five. (SportsBuff.com)

12/7/2009 8:36:00 AM
Description: Ginn caught two passes for 34 yards on Sunday against the Patriots.
Insight: Ginn was targeted only three times and finished with two catches for a second straight game. (SportsBuff.com)

11/2/2009 8:58:00 AM
Description: Ginn did not have a single reception against the Jets but took two kickoffs back for touchdowns.
Insight: Ginn had a 100 and 101-yard touchdown returns and was the difference in the game. (SportsBuff.com)
