Named a Second Team All-American by the AP in 2008-09 and was also a First Team All-Big East Conference selection as he closed out his career with the Marquette Golden Eagles...McNeal, a finalist for both the Wooden Award and the Oscar Robertson Trophy, is first all-time at Marquette in points scored with 1,985, not to mention steals (287) and games played (130)...Just the sixth player in program history to record at least 1,500 points and 500 rebounds, McNeal averaged a career-best 19.8 ppg as a senior, shooting 44.2 percent from the floor and nearly almost as well (.398) behind the three-point line over the course of 35 starts...Averaged four and a half rebounds per game and logged a career-best 137 assists as a senior...Increased scoring average each year with Marquette, beginning with 11.1 ppg as a freshman and moving up to 14.7 ppg the following year and 14.9 ppg as a junior...McNeal also increased his assists from one year to the next as well (85, 109, 123, 137)...Named to the All-Big East Second Team in 2007-08 as he finished among the conference leaders in scoring (14.9 ppg), assists (3.5 apg) and steals (2.2 spg)...McNeal was also a member of the All-Big East Second Team as a sophomore and the league`s All-Rookie Team in 2005-06...Has shown tremendous growth and potential as he has moved along in his development and would be a strong asset for any team at the next level.
