TeamRecordPrevious Rank
1. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS22-31
Showed strange quirks in loss to Memphis, then look great again vs. OKC.
2. MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES21-42
End the Warriors' 16-game win streak, then survive 3OT in San Antonio.
3. TORONTO RAPTORS20-64
Kyle Lowry for MVP has no traction, but maybe it should.
4. HOUSTON ROCKETS19-63
Probably didn't have enough pieces to swing a Rondo deal. They'll live.
5. PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS20-65
Lopez injury hurts, but Thomas Robinson looked good and Kaman will help
6. LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS18-77
5 games between now and Christmas Day - that seems like a lot.
7. DALLAS MAVERICKS19-88
Here's what I know from Rondo deal - Dallas has ZERO backup big men.
8. WASHINGTON WIZARDS18-610
Is John Wall a top-10 player right now?
9. SAN ANTONIO SPURS17-96
Injuries probably the reason, but this group isn't clicking yet. Strange.
10. ATLANTA HAWKS18-711
Statement win against the Cavs, but Houston and Dallas loom on this trip.
11. CLEVELAND CAVALIERS14-109
This team badly needs a shooting guard.
12. CHICAGO BULLS16-912
11-4 on the road shows a group of professionals who've seen it all.
13. NEW ORLEANS PELICANS13-1215
Win at HOU - Anthony Davis 30 pts, 14 reb, 3 assists, 2 steals, 5 blocks.
14. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER12-1418
KD had 30 at the half before spraining ankle. Not thought to be serious.
15. MILWAUKEE BUCKS14-1317
   Sorry guys. Jabari will heal.
16. PHOENIX SUNS13-1413
Home losses to MIL, DET, ORL and CHA do not add up to a playoff team.
17. MIAMI HEAT12-1416
7-game homestand opens with an 18-point loss to Utah as Wade went for 42.
18. SACRAMENTO KINGS11-1514
4 games under .500 with Cousins gone means you lose your job. Tough gig.
19. DENVER NUGGETS10-1519
Can't underestimate how good a coach George Karl was with this group.
20. BROOKLYN NETS10-1420
They can put Williams/Johnson/Lopez on the block, but few, if any, bite.
21. BOSTON CELTICS9-1422
Haul isn't impressive for Rondo, but market wasn't either.
22. ORLANDO MAGIC10-1821
3 very winnable home games before Christmas. Thank you, Santa Claus.
23. INDIANA PACERS8-1823
Not necessarily sure why they'd want Lance Stephenson back.
24. LOS ANGELES LAKERS8-1724
   Congrats Kobe!
25. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS6-1925
Kemba Walker is perhaps the most underrated player in the league.
26. UTAH JAZZ7-1926
Only wins this month are against 2 NBA Finals teams.
27. NEW YORK KNICKS5-2327
May be time to consider surgery, Melo. What's the point right now?
28. MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES5-1929
Shabazz Muhammad is benefiting tremendously from the injuries.
29. DETROIT PISTONS5-2130
Given up 2 highest point totals in last 2 games. Trending downward.
30. PHILADELPHIA 76ERS2-2228
   Home, sweet home.
