Description: Yankees minor league starter Adam Warren will be called up to start Friday against the White Sox, according to Marc Carig of the Newark Star-Ledger. | Insight: New York lost CC Sabathia (groin) and Andy Pettitte (ankle) to injury Wednesday. The 24-year-old Warren had a 3.86 ERA and 59/27 K/BB in 86 1/3 innings at Triple-A this season. With a powerful offense behind him, he may be able to help out in the wins department if he sticks around for more than one or two outings. | | |
