Sportsnet Insight: Salo only seemed to only want to play in Vancouver once he had decided to return for another season. Yahoo Sports Insight: All of Salo's goals were scored on 5-on-3 power plays, all within a span of two minutes. The Sharks received five consecutive power-play opportunities before the Canucks' first power play while failing to score even once. Salo took full advantage of the additional power-play time he received because of Christian Ehrhoff's injury.
