2/3/2014 1:25:00 PM
Description: The Clippers have signed guard Sasha Vujacic to add some depth to their backcourt.
Insight: He should have no fantasy value.
4/8/2011 9:39:00 PM
Description: Earlier reports said Anthony Morrow would play, but he sat out to rest his sore knee. Sasha Vujacic filled the void a bit with 14 points, six boards, four assists, and two steals in the loss to New York.
Insight: Travis Outlaw picked it up with 16 points and four threes. It's hard to imagine the Nets giving Morrow any shot to play this season which makes Sasha a very strong player to own and Travis Outlaw a desperation attempt for daily league owners that want threes and don't care about FG%.
4/5/2011 8:57:00 PM
Description: Sasha Vujacic was all over the place with 17 points, 10 boards, three steals, and four triples in 38 minutes.
Insight: Even though he was overshadowed by Sasha, Travis Outlaw was also solid with 13 points. Sasha is going to be a must-start guard until Morrow proves he is healthy.
3/22/2011 1:21:00 AM
Description: Sundiata Gaines looked great off the bench coming out of nowhere for 18 points, six boards, three assists, three steals, and a three in 24 minutes. Sasha Vujacic only logged 16 minutes and was very efficient with his 14 points and four triples.
Insight: Gaines obviously needs another game or two before we declare him as a possibility. Damion James does appear to be out of the picture, but it's going to be tough to find a large enough piece of the pie with Anthony Morrow, Sasha, Farmar, and Outlaw competing for minutes along the wing when Deron comes back.
3/5/2011 10:12:00 PM
Description: Sash Vujacic filled in quite well for Anthony Morrow with his line of 25 points five boards, three assists, and six threes in the win.
Insight: The Machine hit the biggest shot of the game to help send this to the first game of OT. Morrow's head injury is minor, but Vujacic will go off while he is out.
3/4/2011 9:04:00 PM
Description: Anthony Morrow suffered a head injury and was unable to return. Damion James continued his unheralded hot streak with 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting, seven boards, three assists, and a steal in 27 minutes. Sasha Vujacic also put in some work with 12 points, four boards, three assists, and a three in 30 minutes.
Insight: Both of Sasha and James should be owned in deep leagues with Morrow's status in doubt. Morrow owners should not cut him until more info emerges.
2/9/2011 10:05:00 PM
Description: Sasha Vujacic scored a career-high 25 points thanks to knocking down five from downtown to lead the Nets in an upset win over New Orleans.
Insight: Could you imagine that kind of line had Sasha still be in Los Angeles? We can't. Sasha and Morrow are in a time-share battle and both figure to cancel each other out a bit. Morrow makes for a better and Sasha should only be owned in very deep leagues for now.
1/21/2011 9:27:00 PM
Description: Anthony Morrow returned from his hamstring injury playing 14 minutes, scoring 10 points, and hitting two treys. Sasha Vujacic got just 19 minutes and dropped nine points.
Insight: Morrow caught fire in the third quarter and this situation has all the makings of a time-share situation.
1/19/2011 11:34:00 PM
Description: Sasha Vujacic's fantasy game spoke volumes on Wednesday with 15 points, seven boards, four assists, three steals, and a three in 30 minutes.
Insight: He has gone from the butt of a joke to legitimate short-term option at worst. Deep leagues should go ahead and add him for now, then wait and see if Anthony Morrow cuts into his minutes this weekend. Over his last five games his averages were 16 points, 1.6 steals, and 2.0 treys. Impressive
1/12/2011 11:45:00 PM
Description: Sasha Vujacic had a big fantasy night with 19 points, four assists, three steals, and five from downtown in the loss at Phoenix.
Insight: Phoenix is a heavenly place for scorers and Vujacic had a Manny Harris-type night against them. He gets to play his old team next and is a nice spot-start.
1/1/2011 11:54:00 PM
Description: Sasha Vujacic was the main cog in the New Jersey offense on Saturday by dropping 22 points, hitting three triples, grabbing five rebounds, and dishing out four assists in the loss to Minnesota.
Insight: The Nets were only able to accumulate 88 points against the worst defense in the league. Jordan Farmar is out for a couple games, so Sasha is a decent add in deeper leagues for now.
12/22/2010 12:05:00 AM
Description: Sasha Vujacic was a key role player off the bench for New Jersey with 16 points, four rebounds, and two threes in 25 minutes.
Insight: This was his second productive game in a row which officially puts him on the radar in deep leagues. He is outplaying Jordan Farmar right now and his proven three-point shot could be a nice asset.
12/19/2010 7:35:00 PM
Description: Sasha Vujacic surprisingly was given 29 minutes off the New Jersey bench and was very productive for the one or two people in the world that own him with 10 points, six boards, three assists, three steals, and two threes.
Insight: There's no chance he has a line like this one multiple times, but the 29 minutes, his excellent three-point shot, and the lack of talent around him could mean there are some good things coming for owners opting to take a chance on him in deep leagues.
12/15/2010 10:03:00 AM
Description: Vujacic will reportedly head to New Jersey as part of a three-team deal.
Insight: It appears that the Nets are collecting Laker backup point guards, including Jordan Farmar and Vujacic. The Nets also receive a pair of first round picks in exchange for Terrence Williams, so Vujacic likely won't play much behind Devin Harris and Farmar. (RapidDraft.com)
10/18/2010 10:10:00 AM
Description: Sasha Vujacic took an inadvertent elbow from Lamar Odom in practice on Thursday and suffered a concussion. He reportedly was still sensitive to light and will see a doctor on Monday. SOURCE: ESPNLosAngeles.com
Insight: He is probably not as bad as DeSean Jackson, but the Lakers are going to take it easy with him. He only played nine MPG last year and Shannon Brown will likely be asked to play a couple extra minutes to fill the void.
10/15/2010 7:03:00 AM
Description: Vujacic sustained a concussion when hit by an inadvertent Lamar Odom elbow and is out indefinitely.
Insight: Vujacic is a bench player for the Lakers and has little fantasy value. (RapidDraft.com)
7/28/2010 12:14:00 AM
Description: The Lakers are looking to deal Sasha Vujacic and a first rounder to lower their cap number. SOURCE: NBC Sports
Insight: Do you believe Vujacic will make $5.5 million next year? The Lakers are well over the cap, so they'll have to pay one dollar per dollar over the cap, so getting Vujacic's deal off the books will save them $11 million for you math majors out there.
