Description: Milwaukee G/F Carlos Delfino underwent foot surgery on Saturday morning. He'll be out for the rest of the 2013-14 season. SOURCE: C.F. Gardner, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Insight: Delfino could have been a productive wing player for the Bucks this season but instead he'll have to watch from the sidelines. He hasn't played in a game since May.

Description: Bucks G/F Carlos Delfino needs a second foot surgery and could miss the entire season, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Delfino posted on his personal website that he'll need another surgery to repair a fracture in his right foot and will have a recovery time of 4-6 months.
Insight: "I’m frustrated because I did all the recovery work but my body did not respond as expected," Delfino said in remarks translated from Spanish. Delfino suffered a right foot injury in the playoffs last season with the Rockets and underwent surgery in May. He was then signed by the Bucks for two years and $6.5 million. It's looking like he won't play any games for the team during the first year of that deal.

8/28/2013 10:07:00 PM
Description: Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times recently referred to Carlos Delfino as the Bucks' "starting small forward."
Insight: Delfino has mostly been a sixth man throughout his career so this comes as a bit of a surprise. Another reason it's surprising is because of Ersan Ilyasova's emergence at that position over the last two seasons. Ilyasova has the height to play at the four but that's also the position occupied by last year's first round pick John Henson. Regardless of who the starters are, the rebuilding Bucks aren't likely to contend for a postseason berth next season.

Insight: The 6-foot-6 Delfino played three seasons with Milwaukee before joining the Rockets last season. He averaged 10.6 points and made 2.4 threes per game last season. He should end up starting for Milwaukee with J.J. Redick, Monta Ellis and Mike Dunleavy all departing the team.

3/1/2013 9:50:00 PM
Description: Rockets guard/forward Carlos Delfino was one of three Houston players along with James Harden and Chandler Parsons to score 20-plus points Friday against the Magic.
Insight: Delfino made five threes as part of a 21-point game. He has been one of the top 3-point shooters in the NBA this season with 124 makes in 49 games. Delfino has seen a boost in minutes since Houston's deadline deals sent several rotation players out of town.

2/5/2013 10:15:00 AM
Description: Houston Rockets guard/forward Carlos Delfino left Saturday's game against Charlotte because of a strained elbow and is questionable for Tuesday's game against Golden State.
Insight: Delfino (10.5 ppg) is a borderline fantasy player who provides scoring, but little else. But his absence from the lineup would make starter Chandler Parsons (14.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.6 apg) an even better value.
