Spieth leads Masters by 2
Augusta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jordan Spieth was 1-under through three holes of the Masters and led by two early in the final round.
Spieth birdied the par-5 second from 10 feet out to join Matt Kuchar at 6- under par for the championship. That birdie went with pars on the first and third for Spieth.
Kuchar got up and down from just in front of the second green, then chipped in for just over the third to reach minus-6. He then 4-putted for double-bogey on the fourth to slide two back. He shares second place at minus-4 with Bubba Watson and Jonas Blixt.
Watson, who shared the third-round lead with Spieth, found sand off the tee at one and two, but saved par both times. He drove just in front of the third green, but chipped over the green. That led to a bogey, which dropped him two behind.
Blixt parred the first three to remain at minus-4.
Joost Luiten is the leader in the clubhouse at 4-over-par 292. He fired a 5- under 67 in the final round. That was just third round lower than 68 all week.
