Insight: Buchanon was recently released by the Lions, which doesn't speak well of his ability to start anywhere else in the league. He would likely be a nickel back and punt returner wherever he ends up. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: MLive.com reports that Buchanon is not a lock to return to the Lions next season.

Description: Buchanon will be one of the Lions starting cornerbacks, according to Mlive.com.
Insight: Buchanon brings moderate value in IDP leagues, especially if he returns kicks and they count as points. He won't be the Lions' primary kick returned, but could be used in a pinch. Last year with the Buccaneers, he had 48 solo tackles and two picks (one he ran back for a score). (SportsBuff.com)

Description: Buchanon reached a two-year deal with the Lions on Wednesday, according to ProFootballTalk.com.
Insight: Buchanon should have little trouble earning a starting corner spot for the Lions. He has had some unproductive seasons and didn't put up great numbers last year. He did produce fairly well in his first season and a quarter with the Bucs, though. He's a lower-level IDP defensive back who will only carry value in deeper leagues. (SportsBuff.com)
