Description: The Eagles have signed Baskett to a one-year deal.

Description: Baskett's name has been linked to the Bears, the Rams and the Eagles.
Insight: Only Philadelphia makes a modicum of sense as he has already played there. Mr. Kendra Wilkinson may have to wait awhile before he gets back on an NFL roster. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: Baskett suffered a right knee injury during practice on Tuesday and was carted off the field. (Pro Football Talk.com)
Insight: The extent of the injury is not known right now, but Baskett is somewhat buried on the Eagles' WR depth chart behind DeSean Jackson, Kevin Curtis, Jeremy Maclin and even possibly Reggie Brown and Jason Avant. (SportsBuff.com)

4/23/2009 11:18:00 PM
Description: Baskett signed his restricted free agent tender on Thursday. He had been tendered at the second-round level.
Insight: Baskett figures to be no better than the No. 4 wideout for the Eagles this season and doesn't put up consistent or big enough numbers to be draft worthy in most fantasy leagues. Baskett will score the occasional touchdown, though, and can be a bye-week fill-in for a desperate owner. (SportsBuff.com)

4/11/2009 6:24:00 PM
Description: Baskett has yet to sign his restricted free agent tender, though the Philadelphia Daily News has reported that he is expected to do so. The Eagles offered a mid-level tender, meaning that any other team who signs him would have to surrender a second-round pick.
Insight: No team will pay that for Baskett, so expect him to remain an Eagle in 2009. He caught 33 passes and scored three touchdowns last season and can be a bye-week fill-in for hard-up owners. Baskett isn't worth drafting in most leagues, however. (SportsBuff.com)
