Description: Tight end Dante Rosario has been signed by the Dallas Cowboys.
Insight: All-Pro Jason Witten sees the majority of the targets. Second round pick Gavin Escobar and James Hanna will also start ahead of Rosario on the depth chart. He hasn't been a fantasy option in Carolina or Denver and won't be in Dallas.

Description: Chargers tight end Dante Rosario filled in for Antonio Gates (ribs) Sunday against the Titans and caught all three of Philip Rivers' touchdown passes.
Insight: Rosario won't be a fantasy option if Gates is in the lineup but Gates owners should add the backup if they don't have another viable tight end option behind the Chargers star.

Description: Rosario (knee) missed practice on Thursday again and is very likely to miss this weekend's game.
Insight: Jeff King should get some more work as a result. However, like just about everyone in the Carolina passing offense, he's not a great play, either. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: According to the Charlotte Observer, Rosario (ankle) said the ankle injury that kept him out of practice on Thursday is not serious.
Insight: Friday's practice report should tell us more about Rosario's status for Sunday against Tampa Bay. Even so, he is not consistent enough to be a reliable option for fantasy owners. (SportsBuff.com)

Questionable10/15/2009 5:51:00 PM
Description: According to the Charlotte Observer, Rosario (ankle) missed practice on Thursday.
Insight: Rosario was originally injured on Wednesday, and his status for this week against Tampa Bay is unknown. He is too inconsistent to be relied upon by fantasy owners. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: Rosario had three receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Panther's 21-7 loss to the Cowboys on Monday night.
Insight: Two of Rosario's catches came on back-to-back plays on Carolina's only scoring drive. He is not consistent enough to be counted on by fantasy owners. (SportsBuff.com)

7/23/2009 9:39:00 PM
Description: The Panthers' official site reports that Rosario expects to be ready for the start of camp despite undergoing back surgery in May.
Insight: Rosario had a strong start to 2008 but ultimately wasn't much of a fantasy factor. Owners should let him start this season on the waiver wire as well. (SportsBuff.com)
