Japan tops Panama, wins International title
South Williamsport, PA (Sports Network) - Noriatsu Osaka totaled two hits and drove in four as Japan topped Panama, 10-2, and claimed the International championship at the 2012 Little League World Series.
Kotaro Kiyomiya added two RBI and two runs scored for the Japanese, who advance to the title game against the winner of the American championship game, which takes place later on Saturday.
Yuta Ishida tossed four innings of four-hit, two-run ball with six strikeouts for the win, sending a team from Japan into the final contest for the third straight year.
Daniel Castro and Edisson Gonzalez knocked in a run each for the Latin American champs. James Gonzalez was tagged for six runs -- four earned -- over three innings in defeat.
