Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Paul George poured in a game-high 34 points and
grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Indiana Pacers to an 80-76 win over the
Chicago Bulls on Tuesday.
Roy Hibbert had 10 points and 11 boards and David West netted 10 points to go

their last seven.
Nate Robinson scored a team-high 19 points and Luol Deng added 17 points and
seven rebounds for the Bulls, who fell to 8-8 with the setback. Carlos Boozer
had 14 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
"I don't think we played well," Deng said bluntly.
Indiana trailed 74-70 following Deng's jumper at the 3:37 mark of the fourth
quarter, but used a 10-2 run over the final 3 1/2 minutes to earn the win.
George's floater started the run and the Fresno State product's 20-foot jumper
following a West field goal gave the Pacers a two-point cushion.
West found Lance Stephenson with a brilliant pass under the basket for a 78-74
lead with 45.5 ticks left before Boozer answered back with a bucket to cut the
Bulls' deficit to two.
Following West's missed jumper, Deng took the ball to the basket, but was met
at the rim by Hibbert. Deng collided with the 7-footer and fell to the
hardwood, but the whistles remained silent.
West would corral the rebound and Chicago was forced to foul with just 5.2
seconds showing on the clock. West sank the subsequent free throws and the
Bulls called a timeout to advance the ball upcourt.
Kirk Hinrich took the pass from out of bounds and drove to the hoop, but
couldn't get the layup to fall and the Pacers held on for the win.
"It was a dog fight," George said. "It's was a fun game."
Indiana pulled out to a 20-18 lead after the first 12 minutes despite shooting
a dreadful 30.4 percent from the floor. George netted 10 points in the frame
on 4-of-7 shooting.
The Bulls, though, outscored the Pacers 19-15 in the second quarter and took a
37-35 lead into the break. Robinson led a balanced Chicago scoring attack with
six points in the period and Marco Belinelli added four. The Bulls held the
Pacers to just 5-of-15 shooting from the floor in the frame.
Indiana used a 15-6 run to help take a 60-55 lead after three quarters. George
poured in nine points on 4-of-7 shooting and Hibbert added eight points for
the Pacers. Indiana shot 43.5 percent from the floor in the frame, their best
shooting quarter of the game.
West has scored in double figures in nine straight games ... The Pacers won
for just the third time in their last 14 trips to Chicago ... The Bulls are
0-8 when Joakim Noah and Boozer fail to record double-doubles.
