Chapter Seven highlights Breeders Crown Trot
Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Chapter Seven, winner of last year's 3-Year-Old Colt and Gelding Trot, leads a field of six for next Saturday's $600,000 Breeders Crown Open Trot at Woodbine Race Course. The Open Trot will be one of 12 finals conducted on Oct. 27.
Chapter Seven will be driven by Tim Tetrick, who missed last year's Breeders Crown due to a snow storm in New Jersey. Joining Chapter Seven in the race will be Arch Madness, Commander Crowe, Daylon Magician, Hot Shot Blue Chip and Mister Herbie.
Post positions for the Open Trot will be chosen Tuesday, Oct. 23.
The $500,000 Breeders Crown Open Pace drew a field of 10 with Foiled Again topping the entries. The 8-year-old gelding has won six of 20 starts this year for $1,031,164. Foiled Again will be driven by Yannick Gingras from post eight.

Anndrovette will try to repeat as champion in the $331,500 Older Filly and Mare Pace during next week's Breeders Crown program. The 5-year-old will be driven by Tetrick from post four after winning last year's race with Luc Ouellette driving.

Other races going straight to finals are the 2-Year-Old Filly Trot with 10 entered and the 3-Year-Old Filly Trot with 11 horses.
Eliminations for 2-year-old races will be held Friday, Oct. 19 and the 3- year-olds races needing eliminations will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 20.
