| ||Paula Creamer struggled to a two-over 73 in the final round last year, but it
was good enough to post a wire-to-wire victory. Creamer`s 73 on Sunday was a
far cry from her play at the beginning of the week. She opened the tournament
with a spectacular 60 in the first round, the second-lowest score in LPGA
Tour history, then followed with a 65 to get within one shot of the tour
record for lowest 36-hole raw score. On Saturday, Creamer only managed a
one-under 70, but had a four-shot lead with one round to go. She held on for
her third win of the season and seventh overall. She went on to win once more
in 2008. ESPN 2 will have coverage of the final three rounds this week,
beginning at 4 p.m. (et) on Friday and Sunday, and at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Next week is the second major of the season, the U.S. Women`s Open, where
Inbee Park won last year.
