Lewis reclaims top spot in world rankings

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Stacy Lewis earned her 10th LPGA Tour title on Sunday and that moved her back into the top spot in this week's world rankings.

Lewis, who was No. 2 last week, had been No. 1 in the world for four weeks in 2013.

Inbee Park had been the No. 1 player for the last 59 weeks, but she dipped 0.81 average points behind Lewis and fell to No. 2 this week.

Lydia Ko and Suzann Pettersen remained third and fourth, while Karrie Webb and Lexi Thompson exchanged places with Webb up to No. 5 this week.

Shanshan Feng held steady in seventh and she was again trailed by So Yeon Ryu, Anna Nordqvist, Michelle Wie, Paula Creamer, Lizette Salas and Cristie Kerr.

Na Yeon Choi inched up one to 14th and that bumped Catriona Matthew down a notch to 15th. Jessica Korda and Angela Stanford were 16 and 17 again.

Azahara Munoz improved one to 18th and that pushed Amy Yang down to 19th. Ha Na Jang rounded out the top 20 again this week.

Christina Kim finished second behind Lewis and Kim sky-rocketed 56 places to No. 53.
