| NOTES | | | It`s an old tournament, with a new sponsor on the Champions Tour... Jay Haas
fired a seven-under 65 on Sunday last year to win the tournament by two shots
over Russ Cochran (more on him later) and Andy Bean...Haas finished at
18-under 198 and established a new tournament record. R.W. Eaks held the old
mark of 199 from 2007...This was Haas` second win at Rock Barn...His other
came in 2005 and he joined Eaks as the only multiple champions of this
event...As for Cochran, he is undoubtedly the hottest player on the Champions
Tour...He won two weeks ago in South Korea when Fred Funk missed a short putt
on the final hole of regulation...On Sunday, Cochran made it back-to-back
wins at the SAS Championship...Cochran went into the final round with a
four-shot lead and prevailed by two over 2009 winner Tom Pernice, Jr... Golf
Channel will broadcast all three rounds...Next week is the final major of the
year for the Champions Tour, if you can believe that...The Senior Players
Championship is on tap from the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, and Haas won that
title in 2009.
