William & Mary's Webb selected for Senior Bowl
Williamsburg, VA - William & Mary senior cornerback B.W. Webb has accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl on Jan. 26 in Mobile, Ala.
Webb is one of the most-decorated players in Colonial Athletic Association history, having finished his career with nine all-conference honors.
This season, the Buck Buchanan Award finalist totaled 46 tackles with eight pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and a tackle for a loss. He averaged 11.2 yards and was selected as the CAA special teams player of the year.
He made a school-record 48 starts during his four-year career and finished his career ranked among William & Mary's all-time top 10 in interceptions (11) and punt return yards (603).
The Senior Bowl, to be attended by over 800 general managers, scouts, coaches and other NFL figures, features some of the best football players from all college divisions and the top NFL draft prospects from the North and South.
The Senior Bowl, which began in 1950, will be held at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Kickoff is 4 p.m. ET on the NFL Network.
