Buies Creek, NC (Sports Network) - Campbell football will kick off its 2011 season at new CAA Football member Old Dominion on Sept. 3 and play five home games.

Campbell has fallen to ODU in each of the Monarchs' first two seasons as a FCS program, including 44-13 last season.

Coach Dale Steele's Camels will open the home portion of their schedule against Division III Apprentice on Sept. 10. The other games at Barker-Lane Stadium/Ed Gore Field are Pioneer Football League contests against Jacksonville Sept. 24, Butler Oct. 8, San Diego on Homecoming Day Oct. 22 and Morehead State Nov. 5.

Campbell finished 3-8 overall and 2-6 in the PFL last season.
