St. Bonaventure has won three straight games and four of its last six. The Bonnies defeated Duquesne, 71-67, on Wednesday night in the team's most recent outing. St. Bonaventure is 6-6 in the A-10 this season.
Rhode Island owns a 10-game lead in the all-time series versus St. Bonaventure, 36-26. This is the first and only time these two teams will meet on the court this season.
Rhode Island held a eight-point advantage at the half against Saint Joseph's, but allowed the Hawks to climb back into the driver's seat and take their first lead of the game with 6:01 remaining. Trailing by three points with 34 seconds to play, Rhode Island missed two 3-pointers that served as the tying margins. E.C. Matthews scored 17 points to lead the Rams, adding five assists and four rebounds to his stat line. Gilvydas Biruta netted 10 points and grabbed six rebounds in the loss.
Xavier Munford is the top scorer for Rhode Island this season, averaging 16 ppg on just 38.6 percent shooting from the floor. Munford's 1.1 spg mark is a team best this year, and his 2.5 apg is third on the squad. Matthews checks in at second in scoring for the Rams, netting 14.6 ppg. Biruta is the third and final Ram to average double digits with 10.7 ppg, bringing in a team-best 6.9 rpg as well.

Matthew Wright scored a team-high 22 points for the Bonnies, adding five rebounds, five assists and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free-throw line. Jordan Gathers scored 18 points off the bench, and Dion Wright chipped in 16 points of his own with seven boards.

Charlon Kloof checks in behind Wright with 11.8 ppg and a team-best 126 assists and 30 steals. Youssou Ndoye leads the Bonnies with 5.5 rpg and a team-high with 59 blocked shots. St. Bonaventure averages 74.4 ppg this season and allows just 68.3 ppg.
The Bonnies have been a strong team at home all season long, and against a Rhode Island team averaging just 67.1 ppg, they shouldn't have much of a challenge trying to slow the Rams down.
